Final Report: Train Derailment near Marcel, CA (UPRR Mojave Subdivision - California Division)

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, at approximately 08:44 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Marcel, CA which has affected the main track.  BNSF personnel responded and assessed the site.  Main track one was returned to service on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 02:01 a.m. CDT. Main track two was returned to service on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 05:00 a.m. CDT.
